These Hydro dams use massive amounts of concrete.  And, over time (and I mean a long time) the concrete erodes exposing rebar and the efficiency of the system is not as good as it once was.  Pitting due to corrosion is also a major problem in this area.

How do you stop that erosion from taking place?  Belzona® 1341 (Supermetalglide) can handle the task.  This two-coat system can be spray or brush applied and since it comes in two colors you can check for wear and reapply before the water gets to your concrete substrate. 

The good news is that Belzona has had this product in service for periods surpassing a quarter of a century.
